Shepway Cyclethon 2006

The Annual Shepway Cyclethon is due to be held on Sunday June 25th 2006. The event involves a gentle 16 mile cycle across the flat lanes of the Romney Marsh. It is a great opourtunity to discover what an excellent place the Marsh is for cycling. As always, half way refreshments will be provided at Lathe Barn tea rooms and a free T-Shirt will be available for every cyclist. Despite the gloomy start to the day, a record 521 cyclists of all ages and abilities joined us for the traditional 16 mile ride around the quiet, flat lanes of the Romney Marsh in 2005. The Cyclethon will begin from St Martins Field in New Romney at 10am or you can join the group half way alonf the route at Lathe Barn Tea Rooms at 11am. For more information on cycling on the Romney Marsh, speak to The RMCP on 01797 367934 or email mail@rmcp.co.uk.
