Sandgate Sea Festival 2005

Sandgate Sea Festival with firework display took place on Sunday 28th August starting at 9pm with fireworks, BBQ and music

Monday 29th August 12noon

Stalls, rides, face painting, competition (greasy pole races), food (BBQ & Paella), music, displays, bouncy castle, surf board instruction, boat rides, rowing and sailing displays, beer festival - and lots more. This is going to be a regular annual event from now on - building on last years pilot Sea Festival which although being small was very successful - but now also incorporating a regular yearly firework display.
The event is put together by the Sandgate Society in partnership with the Parish Council, The Twinning Group, Folkestone Rowing Club, The Ship Inn, Local Traders and others.
